Inuits speak  Inuktitut language which belongs to the Inuit-Inupiaq branch of the Inuit-Yupik-Unangan language family. They live in houses named igloo which is made up of ice and snow. Some of them live in wooden houses. The inside of an igloo is warm and cosy. These people generally burn the fat of animals in lamps to make the inside of igloo warm and bright. Inuits wear clothes made up of seal skin which protects them from cold. They hunt seals and other animals to get the skin with spears known as harpoons. These harpoons are also used to hunt whales and walrus for meat. As this place is full of ice, it is difficult for the Inuits to travel. They use sledges pulled by husky dogs to transport from one place to another place.  When it is summer the ice melts and they use a type of boat known as kayaks to hunt animals. But nowadays, as the technology has changed, they also use motorboats to travel and rifles to hunt animals.
