Dr. A.P.J ABDUL KALAM
Dr. Abdul Kalam is a famous name all over the world. He is one of the greatest scientists and the 11'th president of India. He is also known as the 'MISSILE MAN OF INDIA'. Abdul Kalam was born on 15 Oct 1931 in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu in India. World Students day is marked on his birthday.
The full name of Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam is "Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam". Even though he was born on a poor background, Government has rewarded him with the Highest Civilian Award. During his Lifetime he wrote many books namely : "WINGS OF FIRE"
"INDIA 2020"
"IGNITED MINDS"
He also wrote many quotes. One of his famous quotes was : " Dreams is not what you see in sleep, it is thing which does not let you in sleep". In this quote he is trying to say that " It means to dream with your open eyes, from the depth of your soul". Here, dream means "A passion of our aims and passion don't let you think of anything else rather than our goals".
After a life of sincere education and dedication, Dr. A.P.J ABDUL KALAM died on 27 July, 2015 in Shillong. We celebrate YOUTH AWAKENS DAY remembering the Missile Man of India.
